Derive tenant context from verified membership, apply it in lookup and mutation predicates, and check the requested action. Cache hits, downloads, and background jobs need the same scope enforcement.

select requires rebuilding and scanning descriptor sets on each wait and has platform-specific descriptor limits; poll also examines a supplied list. epoll maintains kernel-side interest and ready structures, which suits large mostly-idle sets. It does not remove per-connection memory costs, application scheduling, or edge-triggered drain requirements.

Check the intended interpreter and run a syntax check first. Enable xtrace only around the suspect section because it prints expanded values; redirect diagnostics securely and mask credentials. Reproduce with controlled input, inspect each command status, and use ShellCheck to catch common quoting and portability issues.

grep selects matching lines; sed applies stream transformations such as substitutions; awk processes records and fields. Quote patterns for the shell, test edits on copied input, and do not treat default awk splitting as a full CSV parser. For structured formats or complex quoting, use a format-aware parser.

A PDB can reject supported voluntary eviction when too few healthy selected pods would remain. It does not prevent node failures, guarantee replacement capacity, or govern every controller deletion.
